Thousands of Americans have gone to Canada over the past few years to get married. As of today, their marriages are nullified, thanks to conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new policy.
Dan Savage is one of the people whose marriage was unceremoniously dissolved last night.
Stephen Harper would, I mean he’s a Nickelback fan!
WHAT? This is horrible. This is beyond horrible. This is like, we need to take our nation back now. Harper will steal all our freedoms away, one by one. He’s selling our national parks, he’s denied support for women’s health abroad, he’s destroyed Stats Canada. He hates us, he hates Canadians, he hates facts and science, and he hates what we are. Will everyone wake up now to what he is?

I find it upsetting how Canada’s “three” founding peoples are referred to as the French, the English, and the First Nations. This gives higher resolution to the Europeans and none for the North Americans. So many people, so many nations, so many cultures all erased with pen strokes and ignorance.
