This clip! What is it? I was watching the season 1 featurette again being impatient for season 2, and I remember coming across this at the end when they flash lots of things on split seconds and being puzzled by this months ago. It’s some kind of deleted scene, though they said there wouldn’t be extra scenes on the DVD because they don’t have any, but this most certainly didn’t make the cut. Is this Sean Bean or an actor who looks like him? Is it supposed to be Ned Stark, or Brandon Stark? Flashback or real time? Is that Aerys with long fingernails or someone holding a rope behind him? Is that Joffrey on the throne? Questions I have many.

  5. with-eyes-averted said: I think it was confirmed by D&D that it was a flashback with Brandon and Aerys but it never made it into the show. And I guess, we won’t see it on the DVD either. Maybe they’ll put it into the series at some point in the future.
